BIO

BRIGID MARSHALL is a Los Angeles-based actress, writer, improviser and comedienne; she is represented by Jordan McKirahan Talent Agency. Her roots are in Chicago. She misses her family and rain every single day, but gets through it using this amazing website: http://www.rainymood.com/

In Chicago she performed improv with the iO Harold team Denver, Playground Theater team The Grrr, and performed sketch with (Long Pause) Comedy. Since relocating to LA in the Fall of 2013, Brigid has performed stand up at a variety of clubs including The Comedy Store, as part of the Emerging Comics Showcase, and has performed improv with her indie team, Windy City Gyros. Her two-person sketch show, "Faithful: Relationships, Schmelationships," written and performed with fellow Chicago improviser, David Blum, was accepted and performed at the LA Scripted Comedy Festival in 2014.

Some of her most exciting accolades include performing at the NYC Improv Festival, Del Close Marathon, Chicago Women's Funny Fest, NYC Sketch Festival, Chicago Sketch Festival, the Detroit Improv Festival and the LA Scripted Comedy Festival.

Her training includes classes with the Upright Citizens Brigade and the Groundlings in Los Angeles, as well as in Chicago with the Acting Studio, iO, Annoyance, and the Second City Conservatory and Musical Conservatory.

She will forever be working on a solo show. She considers her story telling/stand-up open mic sets a preview, five minutes at a time.
